My favorite booth every year at Comic Con in San Diego is the Sideshow Collectibles booth. Displaying their own figures and statues as well as being the North American distributor for the Hong Kong based Hot Toys there’s always a great abundance of awesome stuff at the booth. Hey Everybody,

A few months ago this popped up online hinting that Hot Toys was on the verge of announcing having rights to the Back To The Future license. There was much speculation that it might be a fan made teaser and the prospect of actually getting high quality licensed 1/6 BTTF figure was a huge pipe dream for fans.

Then this pic was posted a week ago that shows  the Hot Toys 2012/2013 catalog and we see that Back To The Future is officially in the game for 1/6 scale now. I’d be in for a Marty, Doc and 1/6 scale Delorean most definitely. If they really go to town and actually make the Delorean I foresee some exploding heads in the collector geek community. We can only all dream at this point, good news at any rate though.

Hey Everybody,

Usually I have a San Diego Comic Con article up right after the Con in mid July, but my wife having our daughter in early July set back writing and anything else involved  in not getting though the early weeks of having a new born. Hot Toys did a great job on the figure but the lack of even a stand of some sort seems like a missed opportunity. I love the size at 16.5 inches that will fit in well with the other Avengers on the shelf like Hulk should,  but wish they’d at least give us a Bruce Banner head in the box to even out what you get for the price. At very least we finally can all have a kick ass 1/6 scale Hulk in our collections.

Hey Everybody,

This sucker looks huge! Appearing on The Hot Toys Facebook page with a “guess what we’re working on ” type message attached . I pretty sure this is the 1/6 scale Batwing from the new Dark Knight Rises film out on July. Looks like Hot Toys is going all out for there biggest money maker in Batman.

More Avengers 1/6 scale previews rolling out at Hot Toys, The God Of Thunder looking quite 80’s Death Metal this go round.
