Tarantino’s Spaghetti Western Is Looking Pretty Sick, Django Unchained Trailers Have Hit The Net   Leave a comment

Hey Everybody,

On December 25th 2012 we are going to be treated to another sure to be loved by some and hated by others Quentin Tarantino’s film Django Unchained. I am one that for sure falls into the positive attitude category towards Tarantino and his films.

I see totally where he’s coming from with all his films, and understand his approach as a ubber film and pop culture nerd myself, I look forward to seeing all his efforts and stories he’s willing to share with us. The western genre is where his latest takes us and it’s looking pretty sick, trailers below for you to decided for yourself what you’ll be seeing on Christmas day this year.

Hobo With A ShotGun. Rutger Hauer In A Film That Might Offened The Hell Out Of Almost Everyone. OK, I’m In.   Leave a comment

Hey Everybody,

For those not in the know, Yes this is a real film. It started out as a trailer that ended up in the 2007 Rodriguez/ Tarantino double feature Grindhouse¬† by winning a fan contest to make their own spoof “Grindhouse” style trailers. Jason Eisener’s ” Hobo With A Shotgun” won the contest and made it into the movie trailers

along with…

Rodriguez’s Machete, which was release as a feature earlier this year and is great fun.

Rob Zombie’s “Werewolf Women Of The SS”

Edgar Wright’s “Don’t”

and Eli Roth’s “Thanksgiving”

All crazy ass trailers, and even crazier is that some are getting made into feature films. I liked Machete, thought it was crazy, stupid fun. Hobo With A Shotgun will work as a film for one big reason, Rutger Hauer. Regardless of the material it will be something with weight to it and a bat nuts,  crazy ass performance by Hauer guaranteed. He is a brilliant  actor and what genius actors do is take any material and make it great and unforgettable.

There is buzz right now that Jason Eisener’s debut film might premiere as a midnight selection at the 2011 Sundance Film Festival. Truly a great position for any first time film maker out there.

Here’s the new theatrical trailer with Rutger in all his unbound glory. Enjoy.

Wow. Well that one should be a interesting ride.

Til Next Time. Stay Tuned.
