Excited To See Director Paul Tomas Anderson Back With A Trailer For His Latest, “The Master”   Leave a comment

Hey Everybody,

I love me some Paul Thomas Anderson films from Hard Eight, Boogie Nights, Magnolia, Punch Drunk Love to There Will be Blood. All have a grasp of the film medium that far surpasses someone of only 41 years of age, and they only get better with repeat viewings. Every time PT Anderson makes a picture I’m there to take in the pure and utter genius and PT Anderson-ness of the whole situation, and on October 12 th I’ll be in the theaters once again for the sure to be great “The Master”. First look at the teaser type trailer below, enjoy.

For a better idea of what story is in store, here’s the IMDB synopsis : A 1950s-set drama centered on the relationship between a charismatic intellectual known as “the Master” whose faith-based organization begins to catch on in America, and a young drifter who becomes his right-hand man.

From the reports I’ve heard and read it seems like this is really about L Ron Hubbard And Scientology loosely, so it will be very interesting how it is received in Hollywood. Super excited to see a new PT Anderson flick in the fall, always a treat I’m up for.

Till Next Time. Stay Tuned.
